Dallas Stars Assign Curtis McKenzie to Texas Stars

Patrick Eaves appears ready to return to the Dallas Stars lineup, making it one forward too many, so the Texas Stars will get some needed reinforcement in the form of Curtis McKenzie, who has been assigned to the AHL.

Eaves was injured while blocking a shot on December 2nd in Toronto in what turned out to be a broken ankle that sidelined him for nearly eight weeks.
