Dallas Stars Alumni To Host The Israeli National Team In Charity Game This Weekend

This Saturday, September 12th, Dallas Stars fans can watch some of their favorites in a charity game versus the Israeli National Team. Marty Turco, Bob Bassen, Brent Severyn, Richard Matvichuk and Gerald Diduck are among the Stars alumni anticipated to play in the game. You can see the full Dallas Stars alumni lineup here.

The Dallas Stars Alumni Association is dedicated to growing the game of hockey in Texas, but also understands the global popularity of the sport. The charity exhibition game is intended to increase awareness of the sport in Israel and foster connections within the international hockey community. The upcoming game against the Israeli National Hockey Team is an opportunity to expand the impact the Dallas Stars Alumni Association has on the global hockey community as well as bringing an exciting, challenging matchup. The Israeli National Team, which will be competing in the Olympic qualifications this winter, will feature Sergei Frenkel, the nation’s all-time leading point scorer and goaltender Yevgeni Gusin, the nation’s all-time leader in games played.
