Bring me this feeling again.

We’re road-trippin’ this week, and tonight wraps up the set as we face the Golden Knights in Vegas. It’s been a bit of a mixed bag on the road trip so far – winning our first of hopefully many in Salt Lake, and turning around and dropping a winnable fight in L.A. to the Kings. But there’s no rest for the weary (and you have to admit we’ve been looking a bit weary), and we face the Kings of LTIR in Sin City tonight. (Maybe we can get some pointers on that whole LTIR thing, huh?)

Speaking of…I heard some rumblings this morning about what we might do in the face of a sad, unfortunate, and yet promising opportunity regarding our cap. Think the Mustache might go for Jacob Trouba?

I’m not sure what I think of it, but I’m positive it’ll spark a lot of conversation. So we’re leading with it this morning. Sound off!

Dallas Stars Stuff

I have no idea what “sewer ball” is, but hey, it looks fun.

It’s gameday people!

Elsewhere in the Central

Only one game other than ours in the Central tonight, as the Wild visit the Ducks in Anaheim. Last night had some action as well…

  • The Hurricanes snapped their three game losing streak, taking down an Avalanche team that still struggles to put together consistent games. [RECAP]
  • The Preds also continue to underwhelm, getting shutout with a Montembeault highlight reel performance. [RECAP]
  • The Jets snapped their own losing streak, AND got the only points in the division last night with an overtime win against the Sabres. [RECAP]

Around the NHL

We have a big slate in the NHL tonight.

Greetings From Scenic Cedar Park and Beautiful Boise

The Texas Stars suffered a tough loss last night after going ahead early…

But let’s get our mind off that with something a little more fun from our boys in Boise.

Finally…

Pretty excited to see Wrigley this year for the Winter Classic. Here’s a sneak peek….
