With the 115th overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, the Stars selected Gavin White from Hamilton of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). In his first full season with the Bulldogs, White, 19, ranked fifth among OHL defensemen in assists (46) and eighth in points (56), and finished the 2021-22 campaign ranked tied for seventh among all players in plus-minus (+35).
