Happy Sunday, everyone! The Dallas Stars look for their first win in quite a while tonight as they take on the Vancouver Canucks tonight at 6 p.m. Central.
Stars News
Scott Burnside has his Five Takeaways from Friday night’s heartbreaking game:
Dallas Stars can't hold onto third-period lead against undermanned Boston squad and now face mountainous climb to the playoffs. https://t.co/m3rPwXL9LE

Mike Heika writes that while the Stars may not be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs just yet, they might already be gone emotionally:

Jamie Langenbrunner is a good one:
Malinda Perryman scheduled her chemotherapy sessions around a group meet and greet with Jamie Langenbrunner, so Jamie adjusted his schedule to meet with her privately. #GoStars pic.twitter.com/rGyqmvZL7S

Hmm, maybe this has something to do with how underwhelming the last decade has been:

At least there is some positive news within the organization:

Here are some written updates in case you don’t feel like watching the video:
Hanzal came through spinal fusion surgery great. Feeling much better. Spezza (back) skated, and it did not go that well. Bishop (knee) has not skated yet. Both Spezza and Bishop to be evaluated around April 1.

The Other 30
If this had come out a month or so ago, the Stars’ backup backstop might be a bit higher on the list:

Things seem to be going really well up in Winnipeg:
Blake Wheeler and Ben Chiarot just fought with each other here at practice. Appears that Wheeler took a slap shot at Chiarot. Looks like Scheifele cross-checked Chiarot and then Wheeler stepped in and began throwing punches at Chiarot. #NHLJets

Down Goes Brown took a look at some Saturday storylines:

As did Greg Wyshynski:

Some of the Ottawa Senators spoke about how much Erik Karlsson means to them before his emotional return to the ice last night:

The Nashville Predators look like they may be getting some young depth heading into the playoffs:

This is a pretty entertaining Sunday morning watch:
You begged. You pleaded. You demanded. We heard your concerns, saw your @ messages.
