It was announced in late July 2017 that Dallas would host the 2018 NHL Draft at American Airlines Center, marking the first time the city and the Stars will host the draft. The Dallas Stars are celebrating their 25th anniversary this season and it only felt right that Dallas would be the choice for the upcoming draft.

Today, the Stars and the NHL finally unveiled the logo for the 2018 NHL Draft, and it not only makes every Stars fan proud, but also every Texan in the state and abroad proud. This logo does justice for the Stars organization and staff who couldn’t have been more ecstatic to have brought hockey to Texas and it truly honors the 25th anniversary here in style.

Round one of the draft will begin on Friday, June 22 and then will continue on Saturday, June 23 for rounds two through seven. This event gives the opportunity for hockey fans from all walks of life, from all around the city and the state to gather together and experience the beginning of it all, so we hope to see y’all there.

A limited amount of tickets will be made available to Dallas Stars season ticket holders in May. Season ticket holders will be notified via email when their opportunity to secure tickets is determined. We will keep y’all up to date when any other information for the draft is released, so as always, stay tuned.
