Happy Monday everyone! I hope you aren’t feeling too bad today if you perhaps imbibed last night. With only 3 NHL games on yesterday, and the Super Bowl, there wasn’t a ton of hockey content to go around, so the links are a little on the light side today. Having said that, at least now football is over and hockey can take center stage! (Just kidding, I know it will be the NBA and the Olympics and probably golf and NCAA basketball and pitchers and catchers reporting and talking about the Super Bowl on most media outlets, but we can pretend). Have a great day!

Here’s who some of the Stars picked for last night’s game:

Thank you for your service Mr. Bow:
The Dallas Stars have assigned goaltender Landon Bow to Texas (AHL).

Marc Methot might be making his return soon:
He's skating in full practice, but they seem to be cautious with him.

Hitch: "We'll see after a few more practices how he looks later in the week." https://t.co/uuriFI4lnJ
Same goes for Martin Hanzal:
Whoops make Hanzal a game-time decision for Monday. https://t.co/rPqbUReVSe

Here’s the tentative goalie schedule for the week:
The goaltending plan for now, according to Hitch:

Bishop Monday vs. NYR
Lehtonen Thursday at CHI
Bishop Friday vs. PIT
Perhaps the most fitting and predictable quote I’ve heard from a long time. Ken Hitchcock really stays on brand here:
Hitch is all about those retro jerseys and he says they give the guys a little more size. #GoStars @Kia pic.twitter.com/fiPs8lmM3x

Around the League
The Central Division had the day off yesterday, so no #MDK updates today.
The Predators were dealt a minor setback yesterday:

I know the NHL has gotten a lot of grief for not allowing their players to play in the Olympics, but the hockey should still be fun to watch, maybe:

Answering the age-old question:
When it's a 2-on-1 situation, should the defender slide? Should he stay on his feet? @EJHradek_NHL and Dan Bylsma break it down. #NHLNow pic.twitter.com/Xulj1gFscc
