North American Juniors and NCAA
OHL
Nicholas Caamano played three games this week for the Flint Firebirds and finished with four points, bringing his total to 55 in 57 games.
On Friday during a 6-3 win against the North Bay Battalion he was first star of the game as he scored once and had a pair of assists. Highlights of the game can be found here.
Caamano would add another goal, his 29th of the year, during a 6-3 loss to Sarnia on Saturday.
Chris Martenet played four games for the Ottawa 67s this week and finished pointless.
He has five points in 19 games with the 67s and a total of 11 points in 46 games.
WHL
Ondrej Vala passed the 20 point mark for the Kamloops Blazers this week. He finished with a goal and an assist through four games to reach 22 points on the season.
He scored during a 7-0 drubbing of the Edmonton Oil Kings on Tuesday and added an assist on the Blazers lone goal during a 3-1 loss to the Everett Silvertips on Saturday.
NCAA
Mike Prapavessis finished pointless through a pair of games for the RPI Engineers this weekend. He played on the top and second defensive pairings in the games against Cornell and Colgate.
Rensselaer will play in the ECAC first round next weekend as they face Clarkson.
Joseph Cecconi played two games for Michigan this weekend as they faced Ohio State.
Cecconi finished pointless as Michigan won one of the games and lost the other.
Rhett Gardner and the University of North Dakota split a pair of games against Omaha this weekend.
Gardner finished with a single point, an assist, as North Dakota won 6-4 on Friday. He finished pointless as Omaha beat North Dakota 3-0 on Saturday.
Minnesota Duluth played a pair of games against Miami this weekend and Riley Tufte finished with a single assist.
It would be his 5th assist of the year and his 10th point of the season for Minnesota Duluth.
Colton Point played a single game for Colgate this week, a 4-3OT loss to Union on Friday.
He made 31 saves on 35 shots through the game.
Europe
Sweden
Niklas Hansson did not play for HV71 this week. It isn’t clear why he did not play but he had been suffering from illness in previous weeks.
John Nyberg played three games for Frolunda this week and finished pointless through all of them.
He averaged 19 minutes of ice time through the three games and has 12 points in 44 games.
Fredrik Karlstrom played two games for AIK this week and finished with a single goal.
He scored during a 4-1 win against Vasteras on Thursday.
Jakob Stenqvist played three games for MODO in the Allsvenska and finished with a single assist, his 6th point of the year.
The upcoming week is the final week of regular season action in the Allsvenska.
Finland
Roope Hintz played three games for HIFK and finished with a goal and an assist.
He got an assist during a 3-2 win against KooKoo on Tuesday and followed that up with a goal in a 4-1 win against Saipa.
He scored, shorthanded, to get the game winner for HIFK.
Aleksi Makela returned to action after missing several weeks due to injury. He finished pointless through two games for Assat.
