Dallas Stars Prospect Update: It Has Been A Good Week For NCAA Prospects

In Europe, John Nyberg got his fifth goal of the year

North American Juniors and NCAA

OHL

Nicholas Caamano played three games with the Flint Firebirds this week. He finished with a single goal, bringing his total to 27 goals this season.

He scored during a 7-5 win against the Sarnia Sting on Saturday.

Chris Martenet played three games and finished pointless this week for the Ottawa 67s.

WHL

Ondrej Vala did not play this week in the WHL.

NCAA

Michael Prapavessis had a good week in the NCAA. He had a pair of assists for the RPI Engineers during a 7-3 loss to Quinnipiac.

He has 14 points this season.

Joseph Cecconi got his first goal in the NCAA this week during a 6-4 loss to Wisconsin.

He has six points in 28 games for Michigan.

Rhett Gardner had a single goal through two games for the University of North Dakota.

He got the goal during a 4-2 loss to Western Michigan on Friday. Gardner has 16 points in 29 games.

Riley Tufte had a pair of games for the University of Minnesota Duluth. He finished pointless through both games against Colorado College.

Colton Point played a single game for Colgate this week. He made 39 saves during a 1-1 tie against St Lawrence.

Europe

Sweden

Niklas Hansson played four games for HV71 this week and finished pointless. He has 12 points in 44 games.

John Nyberg had his 5th goal of the year this week during a 3-2 win against Malmo. He scored the game tying goal before Frolunda clinched the win late in the third period.

Fredrik Karlstrom played four games this week for AIK and finished with a single assist. He has 21 points in 40 games.

Jakob Stenqvist finished pointless after three games with Modo in the Allsvenska.

Finland

Roope Hintz played three games this week for HIFK and finished with a goal and an assist.

The assist came during a 5-3 loss to TPS on Friday.

Hintz also scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win against Sport on Saturday.

Aleksi Makela remains out after suffering an injury.
