The full NHL regular season schedule won't be released until tomorrow, but the season-openers came out today.
It is time to pull out your favorite Corey Perry memes.
Yes, the Stars will be facing the Anaheim Ducks in the home opener on Thursday, Oct. 13. The Stars official twitter account was the first with the news:

If I had to guess, I would say that would be the season opener as well as it appears to be one of the earlier dates released so far. The earliest I've seen is the Chicago Blackhawks against the St. Louis Blues on Oct. 12. The NHL also tends to start its season on a Wednesday with a doubleheader of particular teams, which is another hint here.
The Stars will be the visiting team for someone else's home opener as they play at Colorado on October 15. This will be the second-consecutive season the Stars are the Avalanche's home-opening opponent.
The full regular-season schedule for all 30 teams will be released tomorrow at noon.
