They might have took the long way to get the win, but Cody Eakin netted one in overtime to help the Stars tie the series at two. (And, funnily enough, Eakin's goal came eight years after Brenden Morrow scored his 4OT goal against the Sharks.)
Mike Heika has more on the win, which was just what the Stars needed after losing 6-1 in Game 3.
Now, a day after Las Vegas odds-makers made the Blues the favorite to win the Cup based on a 6-1 win Tuesday, the Stars could actually be looked upon as having a little edge.
"You really do have to stay level," said center Jason Spezza, who made the point on Wednesday. "It's the best two-of-three now, it's momentum swings. We survived some breakaways, and the last two periods we played right and we earned it."
Here's what Eakin had to say about his goal.
And since I'm sure you want to watch it all over again...
