Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Caamano And Hansson Have Good Weeks

Caamano finished with a trio of points in the OHL while Hansson finished with two assists.

North Americans Juniors and NCAA

OHL

Nick Caamano played three games this week for the Flint Firebirds and finished with three points, two goals and an assist.

Caamano had a goal and an assist during a 5-3 win against the Saginaw Spirit on Wednesday and was named second star of the game.

Caamano would add another goal as the Firebirds lost to the Hamilton Bulldogs 3-2 in the shootout. He would score a powerplay goal at the end of the first period.

Chris Martenet played four games for the London Knights, including last Sunday. He finished pointless through all four games.

WHL

Ondrej Vala played two games for the Kamloops Blazers this week. He finished with a single point, an assist, through the two games.

Vala has 11 points in 27 games for the Blazers.

NCAA

Mike Prapavessis played three games for the RPI Engineers and finished without a point in all three games.

Prapavessis has three points in 15 games this season.

Joseph Cecconi played two games for Michigan this week, playing on their first and second defensive pairings.

He finished without a point in both appearances.

Rhett Gardner played two games for North Dakota this week. He finished pointless in both games.

Riley Tufte did not play in the NCAA this week as Minnesota Duluth had no games scheduled.

Colton Point got his first start in a while for Colgate, backstopping them to a 3-2 loss against Providence. He made 22 saves out of 25 shots in his first start since October 14.

Europe

Sweden

Niklas Hansson played three games for HV71 in the SHL and finished with two assists.

Hansson got both assists during a 3-2 defeat of Lulea. He played more than 21 minutes in the game.

In three games for Frolunda, John Nyberg finished with a single assist. He got the assist as Frolunda beat Rogle 4-2. He played more than 16 minutes of ice time in the game.

Nyberg has six points in 20 games for Frolunda this season.

Fredrik Karlstrom played two games for AIK and finished pointless through all of them. He still leads AIK with 16 points in 19 games.

Jakob Stenqvist remains up with MODO in the Allsvenska. He played two games this week and finished pointless through both of them.

The young defenseman averaged 15 minutes of ice time in each game.

Finland

Roope Hintz played two games for HIFK this week and finished with a single assist. He got the assist as HIFK beat Jukurit 4-1.

Aleksi Makela played two games for Ilves this week. He finished pointless through both and averaged 14 minutes of ice time.

Slovakia

Matej Paulovic played two games in Slovakia this week and finished pointless through both games.
