North American Juniors and NCAA
Nick Caamano played three games in the OHL this week for the Flint Firebirds. He finished pointless in all three of the games.
Chris Martenet returned to action for the London Knights after being out with injury.
Through three games he got his first point of the season, an assist, as the Knights beat the Hamilton Bulldogs 7-2.
Ondrej Vala played three games for the Kamloops Blazers and got his eighth point of the season. He got an assist on the Blazers only goal during a 2-1 loss.
Mike Prapavessis got his first assist of the year and his second point during a 3-2OT loss to Union on Saturday.
He got the assist on Riley Bourbonnais’ powerplay goal.
Joseph Cecconi played two games this week for Michigan. He finished pointless but played on the first or second defensive pairings.
Rhett Gardner got his third goal of the season for North Dakota this weekend. He scored on the powerplay as they lost 5-2 to Minnesota Duluth.
Riley Tufte was in the lineup for both games against North Dakota, he finished pointless through both games.
Niklas Hansson finished with a single point through three games for HV71 this week.
He got the assist, his second of the season, as HV71 beat Brynas 4-2 on Saturday.
John Nyberg didn’t play this week after taking a stick to the face in last weekend’s games. The stick left a deep cut, just above the eye, and Nyberg has been sidelined while it recovers.
Frederik Karlstrom had two points this week for AIK in the Allsvenska. He now jointly leads the team in points with ten points through 14 games.
He got one goal as AIK beat Vasterviks 4-1 on Friday and got an assist as they lost to IK Oskarshamn on Wednesday 3-2.
Jakob Stenqvist remained up in the Allsvenska with MODO, he played in two games and finished pointless through both.
Roope Hintz played three games for HIFK this week and finished pointless through all three games. He averaged 18 minutes of ice time.
Aleksi Makela went pointless through two games with Ilves. He has two points in 14 games this season.
Matej Paulovic finished with a single goal through two games with HC Nove Zamky in Slovakia this week.
