Remi Elie played three games with the Erie Otters this week and played alongside 2015 NHL Prospect Connor McDavid for much of it. Since his move to the Erie Otter's he's had 16 points through ten games and is currently on a nine game point streak.

In a 6-5 loss to the Peterborough Petes, Elie finished with a goal and an assist. He helped lead the Erie resurgency after they found themselves down 4-1 only 12 minutes into the first period. He assisted on Darren Raddysh's 10th goal of the season as Erie fought back to tie up the game 5-5 at the end of the second. He'd score the goal that would tie up the game 14 minutes into the second period. Unfortunately, the Petes would get the game winner on the powerplay in the third.

Remi Elie was named third star of the game, highlights of which can be found here.

Elie would add another goal, his 20th of the year, during a 3-2 win against the Kingston Frontenacs. His late second period goal was the game winner for the Otters as it put them ahead 3-0 just before the end of the second period. The Otters would suffer a bit of a scare as the Frontenacs would narrow the gap to one goal late in the third. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Sunday saw the Otters post another big win, a 7-2 defeat of the Ottawa 67's. Remi Elie would finish with a single goal that he scored halfway through the third period. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Jason Dickinson would have his point streak broken at 13 games but finished the week with four points. In an 8-5 defeat of the London Knights he'd get two assists and add another two goals to his totals. Tyler Bertuzzi got a hat trick in the game, with Jason Dickinson assisted on two of those goals. Dickinson would get two of his own, one late goal in the second period and a late, empty netter in the third. That goal was Dickinson's 18th goal of the season.

Dickinson was named third star of the game, you can watch highlights of the game here.

Aaron Haydon only played one game this week and went pointless in it. He missed a pair of games for the IceDogs dealing with injury issues. He was held out on Wednesday and missed Sunday's game after playing on Saturday. Apparently he was banged up from the previous game.

Brent Moran only played a single game this week, a 6-3 loss to the Barrie Colts. He faced 31 shots and made 25 saves, a 0.806SVS%.

Both Patrick Sanvido and Alex Peters are out with injuries. Sanvido is expected to return within a few weeks while Peters is out for the season.

Brett Pollock had a pair of goals this week for the Edmonton Oil Kings, both during a 4-0 shutout of the Red Deer Rebels. Pollock got a pair of even strength goals in the third period. He was named second star of the game for his efforts. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Cole Ully had four points through three games with the Kamloops Blazers this week. He had a three point game against the Seattle Thunderbirds during a 4-3 win. He scored the Blazers first two goals in the first period, both on the powerplay, before assisting on the goal that tied up the game in the third, another powerplay goal. He was named first star of the game for his effort. Highlights of the game can be found here.

During a 3-2SO win against the Vancouver Giants on Saturday, Ully would get a goal and score in the shootout to help the Blazers get the win. Just over a minute into the game Ully would open the scoring on an even strength goal, his 25th of the year. Highlights of the game can be found here.

QMJHL

Philippe Desrosiers played only one game this week for the Rimouski Oceanic, backstopping them to a 4-3 win against the Shawinigan Cataractes. He faced 26 shots and saved 23 of them, a 0.885SVS%.

USHL

Matej Paulovic played a pair of games against Dubuque and finished with a goal and an assist in both games. The Muskegon Lumberjacks dropped the first 6-3 but won the second 3-2.

NCAA

Devin Shore played two games this week with the University of Maine and finished with a single goal. In a 2-1OT loss to Connecticut on Sunday he had a goal to tie up the game in the third period. He was named third star of the game for his effort.

Mike Prapvessis finished pointless in the only game that Rensselaer played this week. The RPI Engineers lost to Dartmouth 3-1.

Europe

Sweden

Ludwig Bystrom played three games for Farjestad this week and went pointless through all of them. He's been on their top defensive pairing, according to the lineup sheets, and has been averaged just below 20 minutes per game. It's the first time for a while that he has seen consistent ice time in the SHL this season.

John Nyberg played two games in the SHL this week for Frolunda. He went pointless through both games but averaged 12 minutes in ice time. He's been going up and down between the SHL and the juniors leagues for Frolunda.

Emil Molin and Niklas Hansson played a pair of games for Rogle this week. Hansson went pointless while Emil Molin registered an assist, his 7th of the year, over those games. Hansson averaged 14 minutes of ice time for Rogle over those two games. Emil Molin was riding the bench for most of the first game and only played a minute in the third. In the other game, where he registered an assist, he played just over 10 minutes.

Finland

Esa Lindell averaged 24 minutes of ice time over the three games this week and finished with a single assist for Assat. He got his assist during a 4-1 defeat of Saipa on Thursday. He was named third star of the game for his effort.

In three games this week Aleksi Makela averaged 19 minutes of ice time for Ilves and went pointless over that stretch.

Miro Karjalainen is still out with injury.

Russia

Dmitry Sinitsyn has still not returned to action for Dynamo Moscow since being injured early in December.
