Remi Elie got off to a good start with the Erie Otters, registering three points in the three games he's played. He went pointless in his first game at Erie, a 4-3 defeat to Sarnia, but registered two points in his second game, a 6-2 win against the London Knights. He had the primary assist on the opening goal, a powerplay goal. He'd later assist on an even strength goal half way through the first period. He was slated to play on Erie's second line, alongside 2015 NHL Draft Prospect Dylan Strome.

Erie played the Knights again on Sunday and Remi Elie finished with a single assist in a 5-3 win for Erie. He got the assist on Connor McDavid's 19th goal of the season and the goal that tied the game early in the third.

Jason Dickinson had four points through three games this week and is currently on a six game point streak for the Guelph Storm. He had a primary assist on the Storm's only goal in a 2-1OT loss to the Mississauga Steelheads. He helped tie the game under five minutes into the third period. Highlights of the game can be found here.

His 13th goal of the season opened the scoring on Saturday but the Storm would go on to lose that game 5-3 to the Sarnia Sting. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Dickinson would add a pair of assists during the Storm's 4-2 win against the Kitchener Rangers on Sunday. The Storm would score three goals in the third to put themselves ahead for the win. Dickinson assisted on Zac Leslie's powerplay goal less than 10 minutes into the first and would assist on C.J Garcia's game winning goal.

Aaron Haydon played two games with the Niagara IceDogs this week and finished pointless through those games.

Brent Moran got a win in his first full game since the 18th December 2014. He let in four goals in a 5-4 win against the Sudbury Wolves. He finished with a 0.862SVS%.

Alex Peters is still out, recovering from surgery.

Patrick Sanvido got an assist through three games this week. The assist gave him a two game point streak. He got the assist on Markus Soberg's equalising goal, shorthanded, in a 6-5OT win against the Belleville Bulls.

WHL

Brett Pollock hit a six game point streak this week and had five points through three games played. During a 4-1 win against the Regina Pats on Friday, Pollock had a single assist. Highlights of the game can be found here.

Pollock would score his 18th goal of the season and add another assist in a 4-3 win on Saturday. He'd assist on the opening goal, 14 minutes into the first period, and score early in the third period. Highlights of the game can be found here.

In their third game in three days Brett Pollock would add a pair of assists to his totals in a 4-1 win against the Swift Current Broncos. He assisted on the game winner 15 minutes into the first and would assist on another goal 5 minutes into the third period.

Despite speculation that Cole Ully could be moved at the WHL trade deadline, no deal occurred. He remains part of the Kamloops Blazers who appear to have too much ground to gain to get in the playoff hunt.

He only played two games this week and finished with a single goal, bringing his total to 19. During a 5-2 loss to the Spokane Chiefs on Saturday he put one in just under half way through the second period. Highlights of the game can be found here.

QMJHL

Philippe Desrosiers played one game this week, back stopping the Rimouski Oceanic to a 4-2 win against the Val-D'Or Foreurs. He made 29 saves on 31 shots, a 0.935SVS%. Through two games in January he now has a 0.922SVS%.

USHL

In the USHL Matej Paulovic returned to action after winning a bronze medal at the WJC. He went pointless in a 2-1 loss to Madison but would receive a five minute major for kneeing and a game misconduct 13 minutes into the third period.

NCAA

Devin Shore had two assists in a 3-0 win against U-Mass Lowell on Saturday. He had the primary assist on a powerplay goal early in the second period that would be the game winner. He'd also assist on Maine's second goal of the game. He now has 16 points through 22 games.

Mike Prapavessis has moved back up to the top defensive pairing for the RPI Engineers but went pointless through two games this week. RPI split their two games this week, losing 4-2 to Quinnipiac but winning 5-2 against Princeton.

Europe

Sweden

Ludwig Bystrom was scratched and did not play for Farjestad this week.

Emil Molin and Niklas Hansson went pointless through two games this week with Rogle. Hansson averaged 18 minutes of ice time over the two games while Molin played eight.

I missed this in last week's update but John Nyberg was loaned again to the Allsvenska, this time to Mora. He has played in four games for them, going pointless but averaged 15 minutes of ice time per game.

Finland

Lindell played four games this week and had four points, averaging 24 minutes of ice time per game. He had a single assist last Monday during a 2-1 loss and added another assist in a 2-1 loss on Friday.

He'd add a pair of assists on Saturday during a 5-1 win against Ilves. He got an assist on the game winning goal. Lindell is currently sixth in the Liiga in points scored by a defenseman with 19 through 34 games.

Aleksi Makela played three games this week and averaged 16 minutes of ice time across those games. He had a single assist in a 6-3 loss to JYP and played over 20 minutes. Makela now has six points through 21 games in the Liiga.

Miro Karjalainen has not played in Finland this week, he's apparently out with a knee injury.

Russia

Dmitry Sinitsyn did not play in the KHL this week.
