A Night To Remember: Honoring Mike Modano As Dallas Stars Retire #9

New, comments

It's fine to sports cry today. Just let it all out.

Ronald Martinez

It's finally here. The day to celebrate Mike Modano and all of his contributions made to the Dallas Stars, the city of Dallas and hockey in Texas.

The man that got many of us hooked into this team so thoroughly is being honored tonight as the Dallas Stars retire #9. A reminder of all the festivities:

4:30 - Victory Green Carpet Arrival
5:30 - Get yourself into your seat, you don't want to miss a thing!
6:00 - Ceremony begins
7:30 - Puck drop (oh hey, there's a massive game against the Minnesota Wild to be played. BIG two points.)

As we go through tonight's ceremony, pre- and post-ceremony activities we'd like to see this night in your eyes. Share your Mike Modano memories with us! Here's how:

Email: send photos to retiring9@gmail.com

Twitter/Instagram: tweet photos with the hashtag #HonoringMo

Facebook: post up to our page - Defending Big D

We'll pull together a gallery of the memories as we celebrate Mike Modano this weekend. Hope to see you all there tonight - Brad, Erin, myself and Trevor will all be out on the concourse during the intermissions of tonight's game around section 121/122 where the Defending Big D group is. Make sure to stop by and say hello!
