Kari Lehtonen Healthy Again As Cristopher Nilstorp Returns To Austin, Horcoff Remains Out

Nilstorp will return to Austin to help the Texas Stars in their playoff run.

Some good news for Dallas Stars fans as it appears as though Kari Lehtonen is ready to return. He's missed the last week or so after receiving a concussion as the result of this play with Erik Haula of the Minnesota Wild. With his expected return, Cristopher Nilstorp will head back to the Texas Stars of the AHL.

During last night's game, the Stars also reassigned forward Travis Morin to Texas as well. That move was made when Cody Eakin, who missed one game with a lower body injury, returned to the lineup.

Shawn Horcoff is not with the team on this road trip, so Colton Sceviour and Chris Mueller will remain with Dallas under emergency conditions -- the Stars still cannot ice 12 forwards with Horcoff and Rich Peverley both out of the lineup.

In case you missed the Stars' announcement yesterday, the March 10th game versus the Columbus Blue Jackets has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 9th. The full 60 minute game will be played with the score starting at 1-0 Columbus. The goal and assists will remain intact, while all of the rest of the statistics of the halted game will be reset. With the new date, the Dallas Stars will play five games in the span of seven days, with two back-to-backs (@ Tampa Bay Lightning 4/5, @ Florida Panthers 4/6, vs Nashville Predators 4/8, vs Columbus Blue Jackets 4/9, vs St Louis Blue 4/11.)

All before the last game of the regular season vs the Phoenix Coyotes. If the Stars can scrap their way to the last wild card spot, nobody will be able to say they didn't earn it.
