2014-2015 Dallas Stars Season In Review: Goal of the Year

We’ve reached the end of our journey through the Dallas Stars goal scoring galaxy. That means I logged over 3 hours of time watching 250+ goals scored this season to bring you this little walk down memory lane. We had a good time, didn’t we?

There were some absolute beauties that were up for discussion and vote throughout the months of the season, but we can only crown one winner. Below are the monthly winners from our series for you to vote your favorite goal from. I’m not sure we’ll have as hard a time voting this season as seasons past, but the collection is quite impressive nonetheless.

Which one was the best goal of the year?

Tyler Seguin‘s last minute winner versus the Pittsburgh Penguins

John Klingberg’s first career NHL goal

Brett Ritchie‘s first career NHL goal

John Klingberg’s breakaway goal versus the Ottawa Senators

Jamie Benn’s first career hat trick

John Klingberg’s overtime winner

The goal that gave Jamie Benn the Art Ross Trophy

Vote for the Dallas Stars goal of the year!

Seguin’s buzzer beater vs. Pittsburgh 43
Klingberg’s first of many dangly goals 56
Pick Brett Ritchie’s first NHL goal because he picks things, too. 1
Klingberg’s Breakaway vs. Ottawa 15
Benn’s hat trick vs. St. Louis (This is actually made up of three goals, so maybe it’s cheating, I don’t know.) 7
John Klingberg’s OT winner against Vancouver 3
Jamie Benn’s Art Ross-earning second assist on Cody Eakin’s goal. Wait, should this just be called “Cody Eakin’s goal”? I don’t know. I don’t know anything, really. 154
