Dress rehearsal might be behind the Dallas Stars, but it's not quite time for opening night.
The Stars have their final preseason game for the 2013-14 season today with a 7 p.m. game against the Edmonton Oilers in Oklahoma City. The Oilers are bringing some of their bigger names, like David Perron, Nail Yakupov and Jordan Eberle, while the Stars are.... decidedly not, but it's a very meaningful game for the prospects and youngsters who are trying to make one final preseason impression on the coaching staff.
The game will allegedly be streamed via the Oilers broadcast on http://www.630ched.com/, but like Brad said earlier today, international streams can be a little bit of a mess when you try to get at them stateside.
If you're lucky enough to live in Alberta, the Northwest Territories or Saskatchewan, there's some indication you might be able to watch it on edmontonoilers.com as well. Good luck with that.
Here were your Stars lines from the morning skate:
Lane MacDermid-Cody Eakin-Valeri Nichushkin
Ryan Garbutt-Vernon Fiddler-Brett Ritchie
Antoine Roussel-Chris Mueller-Colton Sceviour
Luke Gazdic-Travis Morin-Austin Smith
And here's the D:
Kevin Connauton-Jamie Oleksiak
Brenden Dillon-Maxime Fortunus
Patrik Nemeth-Jyrki Jokipakka
Dan Ellis is the starting goalie.
