Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News reports Tuesday afternoon that TSN's "TradeCentre" coverage isn't going to be much fun tomorrow, and that Jaromir Jagr has been traded to the Boston Bruins for two prospects and a draft pick.
Jaromir Jagr to Boston. I'm hearing two prospects and a draft pick.— Mike Heika (@MikeHeika) April 2, 2013
One of the prospects figures to be F Alexander Khohlachev, who Boston already reportedly tried to move twice for Brenden Morrow and Jarome Iginla. Khohlachev is a 19 year-old left handed center drafted in 2011 by Boston 40th overall in the second round.
The other prospect could be the the Bruins tried to give Calgary for Iginla, Matt Bartkowski - A 24 year old left-handed defensive prospect drafted in 2008. That's just speculation while he wait for Mike Heika to break his trade all the way.
This news comes just minutes after Derek Roy was traded to the Vancouver Canucks for Kevin Connauton and a second round draft pick.
UPDATE: Pierre LeBrun of ESPN says the trade call on Jagr could still be over an hour away as of 12:20 CDT - So hold on to your hats for a bit. As the Bruins know, sometimes thing change.
Kypreos is saying the prospects will NOT be the same in the Jagr deal.
