Joe Morrow is an offensive defenseman who is currently playing in the AHL and has 15 points through 57 games, 4 goals, 11 assists. He is a good defensive prospect who will help fufill a need in the Stars organisation for an offensive defenseman close to the NHL level.
The Stars have exchanged another one of their third round picks in order to get the deal done but also acquired a fifth round pick in the process.
Joe Morrow is considered a very solid prospect. Pittsburgh pays for B.Morrow's experience and grit.
