Stars Captain Brenden Morrow has had his name circulating within the potential trade deadline deals for the past couple of weeks and its rumoured that a deal is in place, pending Morrow's agreeing to waiving his NTC, that would send the long term Stars Captain to Pittsburgh.
The potential deal was first reported by Darren Dreger:
Source say the Pens and Stars have a trade in place for Brendan Morrow. However, he has yet to waive no trade clause.

Considering that earlier reports suggested that the asking price was potentially a first round pick, a top prospect and another pick it will be interesting to see what could be heading back to Dallas in this deal. Darren Dreger has hinted that one of the Penguins top defense prospects, Joe Morrow (No Relation), could be heading back to Dallas.
I believe Joe Morrow would go to Dallas as part of the deal for Brendan Morrow.

Its important to stress that this deal is still dependent upon Brenden Morrow agreeing to waive his no trade clause, which at the point of writing, had not been done. We will update with any further news or details when we get hold of it.
If Brenden Morrow waives his NTC then it will be an end of an era in Dallas and a sign that the Stars are moving on into a hopefully brighter future.
