We're about halfway or so through the offseason, and we would like to take this time once again to survey the Defending Big D community for some feedback. If you didn't take this survey earlier in the offseason, we'd appreciate you doing so this time around. If you have already taken the summer survey, we thank you for your thoughts and opinions and look forward to adding more to what we've already collected!
We did this last year, and some of the feedback we received was like this:
- Clean up the language during game day threads and in general on the site (we had moderators who did a pretty good job of cleaning that up this season!)
- More insights into local hockey and minor league hockey (this brought about the Texas Stars report, the Texas Tornado correspondent, and updates on the Allen Americans.)
- Updates on charity work (we did several features on charity events the Stars held and attended.)
- More "behind the scenes" and player interviews (we had several great podcast guests this season, including "Movember" captain Mark Fistric, Alex Goligoski, Bob Sturm, Ralph Strangis and other great guests.)
- And you all said you really just wanted more (with the additions of myself, Josh, and Erin, our coverage has expanded in ways even we didn't see leading into the new season.)
So now we get to ask you to grade us, in a way. What did you like this season? What do you want more of (or less, as the case may be) this offseason and during the season?
