How are you feeling this week Stars fans? We're back once again to see how the team has done individually over the past week, and what a crazy week it's been. The Dallas Stars accumulated a 2-1-1 record and took five of a possible eight points in the past week. Trades, injuries, callups - it's all captured in this week's ratings after the jump. Agree or disagree on any? Let's talk about it in the comments.
Richard BACHMAN |

Comments: Bachman didn't see any action again this week, but is expected to get the start in net tonight versus the Chicago Blackhawks. Can he come up with a big performance after 20+ days without game play? |
Jamie BENN |

Comments: Didn't finish the game versus Calgary after the skate of Mark Giordano cut Jamie Benn's leg, causing him to get stitches. The injury is not as bad as most Stars fans feared (it originally looked like a knee injury) but will take some time to heal. He's missed three games already, and will miss tonight's game versus Chicago. |
Adam BURISH |

Comments: Depth scoring is always fun. Not fun? Getting the flu. He missed the Montreal Canadiens game because of it, but should be back in the lineup tonight. He's been a big part of sparking the fourth line this last week. |
Trevor DALEY |

Comments: Slump busted! He scored two points in the past week to end his points-less streak of over 16 games he had going. Both points came in wins this week. Hopefully he'll get on a roll. |
Jake DOWELL |

Comments: Really solid and provided offensive depth this past week. Shame he's now on the shelf with an upper body injury, because he was seemingly starting to find his groove. |
Radek DVORAK |

Comments: Still looking for a goal since the last one scored on December 1, 2011. Still doing a pretty decent job on the penalty kill minutes he's getting. Been a little bit invisible honestly this past week. |
Loui ERIKSSON |

Comments: If the fact that Loui Eriksson's wife gave birth to their second daughter on Monday and Eriksson got on a plane to play in the game in Montreal Tuesday doesn't get him an "Outstanding" for the week, then his two points should. Ultimate team player sacrificing because every point counts right now, that's some leading by example right there. |
Vernon FIDDLER |

Comments: Stellar week on the faceoff dot for Fiddler, and the penalty kill wasn't half bad this week either. Another solid week of work. |
Mark FISTRIC |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Mark Fistric scored his first point of the season in the game against Montreal, scoring an assist. With Nicklas Grossman being traded last week, Fistric saw his ice time jump significantly (up to a little over 19 minutes/game from about 16 minutes/game.) He's handled it well for the most part, but he still has problems with committing turnovers that seem to end up in the back of the net. |
Ryan GARBUTT |

![]() |
Comments: Not really sure anyone had big expectations for Garbutt when he came in to play on the fourth line. He's brought energy to the bottom six forwards, and scored his first NHL goal AND first game winning goal in the game versus Montreal. Very exciting debut so far. |
Alex GOLIGOSKI |

Comments: A point per game pace is hard to keep up, and Goligoski came back down a little bit in the scoring department this week. Still scored a goal, but didn't record any powerplay points this week. The Stars need their powerplay to pick up for the push to the playoffs. |
Philip LARSEN |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Is on the ice creating space for scoring opportunities, but not finding the scoring sheet himself. He only had three shots on goal in four games this week, and with his hard shot taking a chance at getting something to the front of the net might help create some more offense on a team that struggles to find their scoring touch. |
Kari LEHTONEN |

Comments: Kari Lehtonen is playing like he wants the playoffs. He just needs some scoring support in front of him; he can't stop everything thrown his way. |
Brenden MORROW |

Comments: Neck and upper body injuries still have the captain out for an unknown length of time. Get well soon, Captain. |
Eric NYSTROM |

Comments: Reunited with his old linemates in Fiddler and Dvorak this week, and they've done pretty much what most people expect most nights - a good checking line. |
Steve OTT |

![]() |
Comments: His lone goal came on the powerplay, and his penalty minutes went down this week. |
Adam PARDY |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Increased ice time seems to suit Adam Pardy, as he's been noticed by fans this week for making some pretty good defensive plays in the neutral zone several times. Hopefully he can continue to build on the confidence of being in the lineup consistently, but it's unknown what the return of Sheldon Souray from injury could do to the defensive pairings. |
Toby PETERSEN |

Comments: With the fourth line buzzing these past few games, Petersen made his mark on the score sheet with only his fifth point of the season. |
Mike RIBEIRO |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: The "six shades of sexy" center lit it up this week, starting with that spectacular behind the back bar down goal he scored versus Calgary. Seriously, if you haven't seen the call of that goal, you need to...like right now. He topped off his week by scoring a goal in his first return in the regular season to Montreal since being traded and being named number one star of that game as voted by the Canadiens' fans. Fantastic week by Ribeiro. |
Stephane ROBIDAS |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Robidas is second on the team in time on ice with three less games played. He's averaging 2:56 shorthanded time per game as well as 2:41 powerplay time per game and 16:51 of even strength time. |
Michael RYDER |

![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Ryder continues to roll offensively this week at almost a point per game pace. |
Sheldon SOURAY |
![]() |
![]() |
![]() |
Comments: Has missed this past week's contests with an injured foot, but is expected to be back in the lineup tonight versus Chicago. |
Tomas VINCOUR |

Comments: Does everything but score it seems. |
Tom WANDELL |

Comments: His time on ice has slowly inched up over the past week, and he's scored a goal and an assist along the way. The fourth line is looking pretty good these last few games. |
