Help Wanted: Defending Big D Is Hiring (Sort Of)

We're just a few short weeks away from the Dallas Stars finally returning to the ice, and Defending Big D is gearing up for what we hope will be even bigger and better coverage of the team. We have some exciting plans in place for more features, more content and more fan and reader interaction and we can't wait to get things rolling.

As part of that, we're looking to make an addition to the team here at DBD.

For those of you that have been reading DBD for a good while now, you know that during the season (and periodically during the offseason) we have a feature called "Stargazing" that provides a run down of all the news links pertaining to the Dallas Stars. During the season we typically try and have one of these links posts run once per day and at the very least the day after games. It's a great way to expose our readers to all the resources out there on the web and generally it's one of our most popular posts.

As we expand our coverage of the team, we've found that having someone dedicated to generating these posts would be absolutely invaluable. This is where you come in:

Are you an avid sports fan? Do you love the Dallas Stars? Are you an intelligent internet user who can navigate the murky waters of the World Wide Web? Then we have an incredible opportunity for you!

If you think you're interested, email me at brandon.worley13@gmail.com with a bit of rundown of why you feel you're best suited for this job. A few things to note:

** No, this job does not pay. I don't even get a paycheck.
** If done smartly, this task should take no more than 30-45 minutes of your time per day.
** There is always the opportunity to become a full time writer for DBD in the future. After all...this is what Brad started off doing. Now he's my boss (how did that happen?).

We're also looking to change the name of these "links posts", since we've named our podcast Stargazing as well. Any ideas?
