Fans have been waiting for the Dallas Stars to go Center, as some felt should have been done last night and they've used their 4th round pick (third overall in this draft) on a young Swedish prospect center by the name of Emil Molin.
Sadly, when you get into the later rounds information on these young men becomes pretty scarce to come by but you can see here at Eliteprospects.com that the guy puts up numbers in the Swedish junior leagues and probably figures to be a guy that stays in Europe for a while, graduating soon to the SEL elite league over there and developing that way before hopefully transferring in a few years to begin the North-American transition.
At 6-0 he's not quite as big as the Stars first two picks and at 170 lbs definitely has some filling out to do.
Eurohockey.com has him at 5-11, so perhaps the young man is still growing. We'll wait for more info from the Stars themselves but for now check out his numbers. He's a (much) better than point per game player in the Swedish juniors, so we're guessing the offensive instincts are there.
The Stars have three picks remaining at 135, 165 and 195.
