Stars Ups & Downs: Week 15

We delayed this week's edition of U&D's to get a better sample size of three games, but when the Stars manage to win all three games as you may have guess, there isn't too much to be "down" about as you will all see after the jump...

Goalies	Trend	Notes
Kari Lehtonen		Made 82 saves off of 86 shots in his three wins and finally is starting to win over his many, many critics that were expecting him to spend most of the season on the IR let alone lead the Stars to 4th overall.
Andrew Raycroft		Of course he didn't see any playing time this past week, but someone has to get an down arrow this week and we really gotta question his use of glitter...  (Kidding! Sorta... Kinda...)
Defensemen
Trevor Daley		If you missed it, Brandon Bibb has a great look at Daley's work over the last little while.
Jeff Woywitka		Had a much better week capped off with a very smart game saving swipe against L.A. and some good work in his own end playing in front of friends and family in Edmonton.
Nicklas Grossman		Even if they are just assists (which he had two of this week) any point production from Grossman gets him a huge thumps up.
Stephane Robidas		Steady reliable play as always from Robi.
Karlis Skrastins		Safe to say Skrastins returning to the lineup helps steady the group as a whole?
Mark Fistric		He's not playing major minutes but at least is playing nice physical D when he is on the ice.
Forwards
Jamie Benn		The three certainties in life: Death, taxes and Benn scoring a highlight reel worthy goal every week.
Tom Wandell		Wasn't overly good against Atlanta or L.A. but really had a nice effort and again used his speed more against the Oilers.
Adam Burish		As was pointed out by a handful of commenters in our game day threads over the past week: with so many shots blocked, he's going to end up looking like a walking bruise.
Loui Eriksson		Had his points streak snapped in Edmonton, but for a while had the longest point streak in the NHL.
Brenden Morrow		Hasn't really produced point wise, but not slacking on the ice either and providing lots of hustle.
James Neal		The man is on fire and about to be the Stars first 20-goal player this season.
Steve Ott		No points on the week but much like Morrow, playing gritty hockey and at least throwing opponents off their game.
Mike Ribeiro		The goals are starting to roll in for Ribs as his shot totals each game are slowly going up.  Also takes over for Loui as holder of the longest point streak in the NHL.
Brad Richards		Also had his points streak snapped against the Oilers.  Providing lots of jedi passes, but it would be nice to see a goal once in a while from #91...
Krys Barch		When the season ends, one of my favorite stat lines will be Barch's against the Kings where he had 6 hits in less than 6 minutes of total ice time.
Brian Sutherby		Used sparingly as he's fighting through injuries.
Jamie Langenbrunner		Scored game winner against Los Angeles and is playing on both penalty kill and power play and doing it well.
