The five players placed on waivers yesterday have cleared already, as of 11:00 am, according to Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News.
Gagnon has been one of the best players in the Stars young pre-season, and the most noticeable of the younger crowd out there. It was a bit of a gamble to send him through but they managed to sneak him through, no harm no foul. Now they can assign him to Cedar Park if need be. If not he can stay with the club for up to 30 days (or plays 10 games) without needing to clear waivers again.
Scott Glennie's inauspicious pre-season with the Stars has also ended as he re-joins his junior team, the Brandon Wheat Kings.
FRISCO, Tex. -- The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has made the following roster moves to its 2010 Training Camp roster:
Assigned to Texas Stars (AHL) Training Camp (first practice on the ice is Tuesday in Cedar Park):
D Brad Lukowich
C Travis Morin
Returned to his junior team:
C Scott Glennie (Brandon Wheat Kings, WHL)
The moves leave Dallas with 30 players on its Training Camp roster (attached).
The Stars will play their next pre-season game this Tuesday at the Colorado Avalanche, followed by a Thursday home game vs. Colorado at American Airlines Center.
