Dallas Stars Send Aaron Gagnon Back To Texas Stars

After playing only one game since being recalled over the weekend, Aaron Gagnon has been re-assigned to the Texas Stars. He played on a line with Tom Wandell and Brandon Segal last night and was there to fill in while Jamie Benn continues his comeback from concussion-like symptoms.

This move could mean that Jamie will indeed be back in the lineup on Thursday night. (And will hopefully help the Stars possess the puck a little longer). Otherwise Krys Barch will be in the lineup and the Stars will have no healthy scratches at forward.

Here's the release:

FRISCO, Tex.  -- The Dallas Stars announced today that the club has assigned center Aaron Gagnon to the Texas Stars, Dallas’ primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Gagnon, 25, was recalled on Sunday by Dallas and played in last night’s game at Tampa Bay, going scoreless. He has appeared in two games for Texas so far this season, scoring one goal and one assist.

Gagnon signed as a free agent was Dallas on February 2, 2007.
