Editor's Note: In light of some of the depressing stories and news of the past week, I thought I'd post this as a way to shake things up a bit. This evening I'll have my detailed thoughts on the state of this team and where they could be headed.
Defending Big D launched in January of 2009, and since then we've seen an incredible amount of growth. What started as just a simple blog with only myself and a couple of faithful readers. RPT and Mizzou12 were there from the very first day, and now we have a community that continues to grow each day. When I started this site, my goal to was to provide not only Dallas Stars news and analysis, but to build a close-knit group of fans that could feel as close as true friends with one another. I truly believe we've accomplished that, and we grow stronger each day.
Here's to 2010 being as incredible a year as 2009 was. After the jump, user statistics for the past year. Let's see if we can get some of you to actually comment more than me, okay?
