Good game last night at the AAC, where Brad Richards, James Neal and Loui Eriksson went a long way in establishing themselves as a very dangerous second line. Tyler Beskorowany had a great night, getting a win a brand new contract within a few hours of each other.
Follow the jump for a few notes for the game tonight:
Mark Stepneski has the projected roster for the game tonight:
Morrow-Ribeiro-Brunnstrom
Barch-Wandell-Sawada
Korostin-Lindgren-Beaudoin
Wathier-Petersen-Fortunus
Daley-Larsen
Vishnevskiy-Robidas
Grossman-Stafford
If you notice, Maxime Fortunus is playing on he right wing on the fourth line. Fortunus is a right-handed defenseman with a big shot and good skating ability, and the Stars are apparently interested in trying him out as a forward. If he plays well at the position, he could make become valuable as one of the very few right-handed wingers in the system.
Keep an eye (or your ear, as that would be more appropriate) on the Korostin-Lindgren-Beaudoin line. That's a group of some talented and young goalscorers who have a future with the Stars.
No word yet on goaltenders, although my bet would be on Alex Auld and Matt Climie splitting the game.
Beskorowany and Tomas Vincour were sent back to the juniors today.
