Gameday Preview: Dallas Stars @ Colorado Avalanche (8:00p CDT)

New, comments

What: Dallas @ Colorado
When: 8:00 p.m. CDT
Where: Pepsi Center
Radio: Mile High Sports 1510 AM

Good game last night at the AAC, where Brad Richards, James Neal and Loui Eriksson went a long way in establishing themselves as a very dangerous second line. Tyler Beskorowany had a great night, getting a win a brand new contract within a few hours of each other.

Follow the jump for a few notes for the game tonight:

Logo_dallas_stars_mediumMark Stepneski has the projected roster for the game tonight:

Morrow-Ribeiro-Brunnstrom
Barch-Wandell-Sawada
Korostin-Lindgren-Beaudoin
Wathier-Petersen-Fortunus

Daley-Larsen
Vishnevskiy-Robidas
Grossman-Stafford

Logo_dallas_stars_mediumIf you notice, Maxime Fortunus is playing on he right wing on the fourth line. Fortunus is a right-handed defenseman with a big shot and good skating ability, and the Stars are apparently interested in trying him out as a forward. If he plays well at the position, he could make become valuable as one of the very few right-handed wingers in the system.

Logo_dallas_stars_mediumKeep an eye (or your ear, as that would be more appropriate) on the Korostin-Lindgren-Beaudoin line. That's a group of some talented and young goalscorers who have a future with the Stars.

Logo_dallas_stars_mediumNo word yet on goaltenders, although my bet would be on Alex Auld and Matt Climie splitting the game.

Logo_dallas_stars_mediumBeskorowany and Tomas Vincour were sent back to the juniors today.
