During the offseason, StarGazing will be posted every Monday and Thursday, rounding up the news on the Dallas Stars and from around the NHL. Might be some other news thrown in as well.
- Mike Heika has his last newsletter up this morning, and he starts off asking whether the Stars should stick with the General Manager duo of Brett Hull and Les Jackson. He also answers questions on Bob Gainey, Jonas Gustavsson, and about college free agents.
- Heika also takes a look at former Stars that are in the playoffs this year. Gah, I miss Jamie Langenbrunner.
- Mark Stepneski has a great interview with Fabian Brunnstrom, where the Swede talks about his first year in the NHL and how it took him a while to adjust.
- USA Hockey has announced their official roster for the World Championships. Matt Niskanen is on the squad as a top defenseman.
- DallasStars.com has a nice article on Andrew Hutchinson.
- The NHL will hold a hearing today with Daniel Carcillo, after he started a confrontation last night the final minutes of the Penguins and Flyers game.
- In some bizarre news, TSN is reporting that Celine Dion's company is considering bidding on the Montreal Canadiens. Eyes on the Prize says that the fans would much rather have Serge Savard own the team.
- Hockey legend Guy LeFleur's trial is underway.
- TSN has a great article on goaltenders in the playoffs.
- On The Forecheck has a post on the "Tweet-up" he hosted last night.
- Dan Cleary is set to play for the Red Wings tonight.
- Nucks Misconduct has a great recap of last night's win over St. Louis.
