Marty Turco backed up his talk from Wednesday, putting together a solid game and getting the shutout against the Kings. Unfortunately, the guys in front of him were unable to provide any scoring support and the Stars ended up losing 1-0 in a shooutout to the LS Kings.
Things to discuss:
- Two more Stars were lost to injury against the Kings. Trevor Daley went down with what could be a bad lower-body injury, and Krys Barch left the game after injuring himself in a fight.
- The Stars' veterans all had strong games. Mike Modano, Brendan Morrison and Daryl Sydor had some of their strongest games in recent memory.
- Power play woes continue: the Stars are 1-29 on the power play in the past seven games.
- The Stas gained a point, yet once again fell even further behind with St. Louis and Nashville both winning their respective games.
More to come.
