Defending Big D LIVE will air this Thursday night at 8 p.m. Central, as we talk about the past week of Stars hockey, which turned out to be a fairly successful run of games. Hopefully we'll be discussing a winning streak as well after the Stars take on Toronto Wednesday night.

The big news for this week is that Brent Severyn will be our guest this week, as we look to include some actual expert opinion on the show.

Brent Severyn (in case you didn't know) is a former player for Colorado, Anaheim and Dallas and played for the Stars on their Stanley Cup winning team in 1999. He was an old-school enforcer, amassing 825 penalty minutes in 328 career games. Currently he is a radio analyst for the Stars radio broadcast on KTCK 1310 The Ticket, and also appears on the FSN post-game show.

We're going to do our best not to embarrass ourselves.

DBD LIVE Is Now On iTunes!

Here's some updated information for the show: We air live once a week on Blog Talk Radio, and our archived shows are available to listen to on our show home page. Furthermore, if you have an iPhone, you can stream shows on your phone from the site, as well as listen to the show LIVE on your phone as well.

If you have iTunes and, like me, like to download podcasts to listen to throughout the week, then good news. Defending Big D LIVE is now available via iTunes. Either click on the iTunes button on our home page, or click this link to go to the iTunes page directly.
