We all know that Major League Baseball has been less than thrilled with Tom Hicks' stewardship of the Rangers for quite some time now.
Apparently, the higher ups in the NHL have a frosty relationship with him, too.

I know the Stars and Rangers are run as separate business units. But considering the fact that Hicks indicated months ago that he'd be open to selling up to 49% stakes in each the Stars and Rangers, I wonder if a similar announcement about his ownership in the Stars isn't too far behind.
This came on the same day George Gillette announced he was putting the Canadiens up for sale. As you know, Gillette and Hicks own equal shares in Liverpool FC.
