Per our sources at the game tonight (Brad...), Glen Gulutzan stated after the loss to the Red Wings that Jamie Benn has not been ruled out for the All-Star Game and could possibly play next week against Anaheim. That would be a 10-day hiatus after his surgery.
Gulutzan also stated that Larsen should be ready for Friday's game -- so, are the Stars keeping eight d-men for now, or is someone else being sent down?
We'll talk tonight, but I think there's a good possibility that you'll see Bacher tomorrow,'' Gulutzan said. ``We went through all of the tape, but we just haven't had time to chat about it, but there is a good chance we'll give Bacher and opportunity. He's a guy I'm familiar with and a guy we have lots of confidence in, and he's earned it in our organization.''

The ceremony kicks off at 6:30p.m. CST and will be aired on the NHL Network. Discuss it here.
`To me, there is a little bit of a history with us in this league,'' Gulutzan said. ``I'm not saying we're getting calls unfairly, but it seems like we've got a short leash out there. So we're going to try to change our perception, especially from the bench and how much we talk to the referees. They're only human, and you get a reputation as a group. I'm not quite sure what our reputation is in the league, but I don't know if 's great. I think we need to clean that up from our end, and we're working toward that.''
We have reached an agreement with Fox Networks to continue carrying all Fox Networks (including FX, National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo WILD, SPEED, FUEL TV, FOX Soccer, FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Deportes), Fox’s regional sports networks, Fox Broadcasting (FOX), the FOX local stations, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network. We know the past ten days have been challenging, but we’re pleased that both sides could eventually come together to ensure our viewers continue to enjoy Fox programming.

Fedun shattered his right femur when Nystrom tried to negate an icing call by reaching for a puck. It appears Nystrom's stick blade got caught up in Fedun's skate blade.
Nystrom arrived with flowers, nervously knocked and spent 10 minutes alone with Fedun at his bedside.
Nystrom apologized and apologized and apologized.
"But no matter how many times I say sorry, he'll still be in the spot that he is," Nystrom said by phone Saturday. "It doesn't feel good to know that you're involved in something that hurt someone so seriously. But he really appreciated me stopping by, and I really appreciated him being so understanding."
