I remember May 4th 2008 like it was yesterday. A dear friend of mine had just said "I do" and I had just put an electric razor to my face for the first time in a long time to trim up the ole playoff beard. I had to look as semi decent as I could for the wedding. Although I was not looking forward to the long drive back to West Texas (from Tyler to San Angelo) I was looking forward to some intense playoff hockey. I was also in a hurry to get home and study (yea right) for final exams the next day. Little did I know that for the next 5 hours and 14 minutes I would have a blood pressure of 160/100. While I was beating on my windshield listening to Ralph and Razor on AM radio they made me feel like I was on the first row in the AA center in downtown Dallas. Due to fading AM radio station I was forced to prolong the trip a little pulled over on top of a hill just west of Abilene to listen to the end of the game. You can probably still see the skid marks I left in the dirt on the side of the road as I popped the clutch on the little Ford Ranger and continued on to San Angelo.
