Jason Dickinson has progressed to the second round of the playoffs with a 4-1 series win over the Plymouth Whalers. They played three games this week and Dickinson had two goals and four assists. He assisted on the Storm's lone goal in a 2-1 loss on Tuesday, had two goals and an assist in a 7-2 win on Wednesday, he was named first star of the game, and finished with two assists in an 8-2 win. The Guelph Storm will face the London Knights.

Gemel Smith and the London Knights swept the Windsor Spitfires. In two games he had a goal and two assists. They won the first game, in which he had two assists, 10-3, and the second 4-3.

Mike Winther did not play in the last week and the Calgary Hitmen lost to the Kootenay Ice 4-2. His season has finished.

Dmitry Sinitsyn and the Regina Pats would be swept by the Wheat Kings. He would go pointless in their two games. Sinitsyn's season is now finished.

Branden Troock is the only Dallas Stars prospect still in the WHL playoffs after the Seattle Thunderbirds won their series against the Everett Silvertips 4-1. Troock had three goals over those games. He scored the first in a 4-3 overtime win on Wednesday and the other two goals came during a 5-0 win on Saturday. His effort made him third star of the game.

Troy Vance was swept by Halifax losing the two games this week 4-1 and 11-3. Vance had a single goal in an 11-3 loss on Thursday.

Philippe Desrosiers backstopped the Rimouski Oceanic to a sweep over Chicoutimi. He stayed perfect in a 4-0 win on Tuesday and was pulled after the second period in a 5-0 win on Wednesday. This doesn't appear to be due to injury but just to rest him. They will face Balinville-Boisbriand in the next round.

Rogle played three games this week and slipped out of a promotion spot after losing two games. In a 3-2 win over Orebro both Hansson and Molin had assists and Molin scored the winning shootout goal. Molin had a single assist in a 5-3 loss on Thursday and Hansson had an assist on Saturday.

Frolunda and John Klingberg lost three games in a row to drop out of the SHL playoffs in the first round. In two games this week Klingberg only had a single assist. He is expected to join the Texas Stars.
