How have the Dallas Stars prospects done in this past week of hockey? Defending Big D is committed to to giving you weekly updates as their seasons progress.

OHL

Remi Elie played three games for the Belleville Bulls this week and went pointless in two of those games. He had a goal and an assist in a 6-5 shootout win against the Oshawa Generals.

Jason Dickinson played three games and had a single assist. His lone assist came during a 6-2 loss to Owen Sound.

Gemel Smith stepped it up this week with six points through three games for the London Knights. He had a single assist in a 4-0 win against Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Thursday, two goals and two assists in a 10-5 win over the Kitchener Rangers, he was named second star of the game, and finished the week off with a goal in a 5-1 win over Owen Sound. Through 66 games this season, for both the Knights and Owen Sound, he has 73 points.

He had two goals in a 8-1 win over Belleville on Thursday, and was the first star of the game, and a goal and an assist in a 4-0 win over Mississauga Steelheads. He was named second star of the game. He has 46 points through 65 games this season.

Cody Payne played three games and finished with four goals in those three games. He put two goals past the Sarnia Sting during a 5-2 win, where he was named second star of the game, a single goal in a 8-3 win over Windsor and the lone goal in their 3-1 loss to Plymouth on Sunday.

Radek Faksa had a single assist in three games for the Sudbury Wolves. He assisted on the Wolves lone goal in a 2-1 shootout loss to Belleville.

WHL

Mike Winther is still out injured for the Calgary Hitmen.

Dmitry Sinitsyn's point streak was broken at seven games and he went pointless this week for the Regina Pats. He finished with a minus-2 rating, including a minus-3 during a 5-2 loss to the Edmonton Oil Kings on Wednesday.

Branden Troock had a single assist in three games for the Seattle Thunderbirds this week. His lone assist came during a 7-3 loss at the hands of the Portland Wintherhawks. He also finished a minus-3 in that game.

QMJHL

Troy Vance has had an impressive week with four points, all assists, in three games. He had an assist in a 3-1 win over Acadie-Bathurst on Tuesday, two assists in a 7-4 loss to the Halifax Mooseheads and another assist in a 5-2 loss to Cape Breton. He now has 27 points in 56 games.

Philippe Desrosiers extended his win streak to 13 games. He has not lost since the 29th January and in that time his save percentage has dipped below 0.900 percent only twice. Two of his three wins this week came during overtime. With three games left in the regular season it is still possible for the Rimouski Oceanic to finish top of the QMJHL.

Maxime Lagace played in a single game this week, a 2-1 loss to Drummondville on Friday. He faced 35 shots and saved 33 of those shots. He was named first star of the game for his efforts.

USHL

Ludwig Bystrom went pointless through the two games he played this week. He averaged around 10 minutes of ice time per game.

Emil Molin and Niklas Hanssons' Rogle are both in the round robin section of the post season in the Allsvenska to decide who will battle out for promotion. So far Rogle is on top on goal difference. Niklas Hansson had a single assist in their two wins and Molin has gone pointless.

Finland
