Dallas Stars in NHL 14 (Early Release Roster)

This year's edition of EA's NHL series looks promising with new gameplay updates in their physics engine, which feels much better, and new one touch dekes. This post is to give you an idea of player and prospect overalls and potential. The rosters in the early release editions of the game will typically see some change in prospect overalls but for the main teams overalls pretty much stay where they are until the All Star/Olympic break. Each player will have an overall, a potiental rating from 1-5 with 5 being a generational player, and a color which corresponds to how likely the player is to hitting that ceiling. Older players' star count will drop as their overalls lower, so players like Ray Whitney who have 4 white stars can probably play at a high level for 2 or 3 more years.

T. Seguin 85 4.5 Yellow (Average)

S. Horcoff 82 2.5 White (Stagnant, once a player reaches 26 their overall remains fairly consistent)
