Texas Stars game March 2nd

Stay connected for news and updates

Just got back from the T-Stars game.

It was ... exciting.

Barons kept coming back and took the game in the shootout.

What I wanted to write about was some of our Stars down here.

Stork let in two goals where he was caught grossly out of position far out of his net. Another goal was just one of those slappers from the top of the circle that curved over his shoulder.

Wandangles was his usual... good speed...breakaway, takes it behind the opposing net and loses the handle.

Fraser had a hat trick... no he didn't. Had two goals, and everyone was keying on him for the 3rd goal. Barons tied it at 4. Fraser is gripping his stick a bit hard, and the guys are overplaying trying to feed him. 90s left in the OT, there's a tussle at the Stars' right circle, the puck squirts out but a Baron goes down and the ref's arm goes up. I think Morin had speed and Fraser breaking, a slick pass to Fraser and in!

The crowd had leapt to their feet on the breakaway, cheering, so if you weren't watching, you didn't see the ref blow the play dead. The horn sounded, the red light flashed, but no goal... instead Slashing on 14 with 96s left in OT.

Stork let in a couple of shootout attempts and the Stars lose to OKC 5-4.

Besides Fraser playing great, I noticed Coyle today with two very headsup defensive plays. I know nothing about him, I shall now research him;p
