A trip to Toronto, a rare occasion in Dallas Stars season's past but soon to be a yearly occurrence, always means lots of homecomings.
Trevor Daley grew up five minutes from the home of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and a handful of other Stars are from the area as well. The most notable player, and the one now assured to be in the lineup to play in front of his hometown family and friends, is center Tyler Seguin.

Commence confetti celebrations... now.
The Stars actually managed to earn three of a possible four points with Seguin out with concussion-like symptoms, taking one point from the Edmonton Oilers and then an unlikely two from the Chicago Blackhawks. But there's no question they're a much, much better team with him in the lineup.
About the only thing that's certain for the lines tonight is that Jamie Benn will slide back onto Seguin's left wing. It could be as simple as Dustin Jeffrey sliding down the lineup to take Ryan Garbutt's place, as Garbutt is out with a bone bruise in his foot, but the Stars have been pretty flexible about moving wings around this system, so all sorts of things could happen.
The Leafs are in the midst of a losing streak and having a rash of injury issues, but they're also not a team the Stars can afford to take lightly, especially after the 50-18 shot margin the Stars found themselves on the wrong end of last game.
