Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Ully Impresses With Six Points In Four Games

How have the Dallas Stars prospects done in this past week of hockey? Defending Big D is committed to to giving you weekly updates as their seasons progress.

Every week, we look at the various prospects in the Dallas Stars system and check in on how they're doing. All stats are updated from the previous Sunday to Saturday night.

OHL

Remi Elie finished the week with three points over three games that he played. He had two assists during the Bulls 4-3 win over the Ottawa 67's. He would add a goal during a 5-3 loss to the Niagara IceDogs on Saturday.

Jason Dickinson had two assists through three games this week for the Guelph Storm. He had a single assist in a 7-4 win over the Sarnia Sting. He would add another in a 4-0 win over Owen Sound Attack on Saturday.

Radek Faksa was only in one game this week. He had a goal in a 6-4 loss at the hands of the London Knights on Tuesday. I believe he wasn't in because he is on the roster for the Czech WJC team.

Nick Paul played three games this week for North Bay and had two assists. The first assist came during a 3-2 win over the Mississauga Steelheads. The second was during a 4-2 win over the Barrie Colts.

Gemel Smith had a single assist over two games for Owen Sound. He got the assist during a 5-2 win over the Kitchener Rangers on Friday.

Cody Payne scored a single goal in two games this week. The goal came during a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Peterborough Petes. He also got a game misconduct for leaving the bench to fight.

WHL

Cole Ully had an excellent week in the WHL with six points in four games. Only in one of those games did he fail to register a point. He had a goal and two assists in the Blazers 5-4 shootout win over the Regina Pats. He missed his shootout attempt. He had two assists in a 4-2 win over the Prince Albert Raiders and was the second star of that game. He also had a lone goal in a 3-2 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Mike Winther is out injured for the Prince Albert Raiders and did not play this week. He has been limited to 18 games so far this season due to multiple injuries and a suspension.

Dmitry Sinitsyn played three games for the Regina Pats and finished with three assists. Despite this, he still finished the week with a collective minus-3. Two of those assists came during the 4-3 shootout loss to the Blazers. He got an assist in their 5-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades on Friday.

Branden Troock continues to put up points for the Seattle Thunderbirds. He had five points in three games. He had two goals and an assist in their 3-2 win over the Portland Winterhawks and was named first star of the game. In their second game against Portland on Saturday, he had two assists in a 5-3 loss.

QMJHL

Troy Vance played in three games this week for the Charlottetown Islanders. He had a single assist during a 2-1 win over the Saint John Seadogs. He assisted on the game-winning goal.

Philippe Desrosiers played three games for the Rimouski Oceanic and had two wins and a single loss. He finished with a collective 0.913 save percentage.

Maxime Lagace has yet to play a game for the Shawinigan Cataractes.

NCAA

Devin Shore had a single assist during a 4-2 win over U-Mass Lowell. He also played two games against the American International Team. In the 7-1 win on Friday, he had a goal and four assists and was the first star of the game. He also got an assist in a 5-1 win on Saturday.

Alex Guptill played a single game against Ferris State on Wednesday. He got one goal in the 2-2 tie. Michigan State would win in the shootout. He was first star of the game.

Sweden

Emil Molin has done very well this week for Rogle with a goal and two assists in three games. Niklas Hansson, also playing for Rogle, also did well with a goal and an assist.

Ludwig Bystrom had two assists in three games for Farjestad. He is currently averaging just under 15 minutes of ice time per game.

John Klingberg went pointless through three games for Frolunda and averaged just over 20 minutes of ice time per game. He finished with a minus-1 rating.

Finland

Esa Lindell played three games for Jokerit this week, including two on the top defensive pairing. He went pointless, however.

Austin Smith played his first SM-Liiga game and finished pointless with a minus-1 rating. He was playing on Assat's top line.

Henri Kiviaho has not played for KalPa.
