It gets in your head.
It affects your performance.
It makes you doubt who you are.
Our arena is not feared.
Yes this my be due to a TON of fair-weather fans that Dallas is so infamously known for and a lack of crowd that comes to intimidate on a consistent nightly basis, but it also has to do with knowing that a place has a reputation of dread to play in. And that starts with having an intimidating name.
Chicago Stadium- Madhouse on Madison
SAP Center- Shark Tank
Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum- The Coliseum (where warriors go to die)
Florida Suncoast Dome- The Thunderdome
And then there's iconic arena nicknames:
I've personally loved the culture change (culture, colors, crest, coaching, and all), so why not get a nickname going that will strike fear into the heart of the opponents night in and night out. Don't make them like coming to Dallas. Make their hearts bottom out when they see that they have to travel TO Dallas and play in that crazy arena.
