Dallas Stars Prospect Update: Dickinson, Payne, Troock And Ully Have Three Point Weeks

How have the Dallas Stars prospects done in this past week of hockey? Defending Big D is committed to to giving you weekly updates as their seasons progress.

Just a quick note before the update: these prospect updates will be up to date to Saturday's games. This is simply for ease of writing instead of being from Sunday to Sunday it will be Saturday to Saturday though the articles will continue to be published on Monday.

OHL

Remi Elie played two games this week and got a goal in both of them. Despite this he finished the week with a -2 rating. Belleville lost both games; 6-4 against the Mississauga Steelheads and 5-3 to Saginaw Spirit.

Jason Dickinson played two games this week and had three points through those two games. He got a goal in the Guelph Storm's 6-5 OT loss to the London Knights. He got a goal and an assist during their 3-2 SO loss to the Plymouth Whalers and missed his shoot out attempt. He was named first star of the game for his effort.

Radek Faksa got a single goal in two games this week and finished a -4. Those two games were a 7-0 loss to the Peterborough Petes and a 6-5 SO loss to the Kingston Frontenacs. He got a goal during that shootout loss and missed his shootout attempt in the eight round skills contest.

Nick Paul played three games this week and scored two goals. His first goal of the week came against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds during a 5-3 loss. He was named second star of that game. Paul scored North Bay's lone goal against the Barrie Colts during a 3-1 loss.

Gemel Smith played two games and had a single goal. His goal came during a 4-1 win over the Sudbury Wolves. He was on the ice for three of those four goals and finished with a +3 rating.

Matej Paulovic played two games this week and went pointless through both of them. He was an even plus minus and had two penalty minutes for a check to the head.

Cody Payne had a good week with 3 points in two games for Saginaw. He got a goal, an assist and a +3 rating during the Spirit's 7-3 win over Ottawa. He also got a goal during their 5-3 win over Belleville.

WHL

Coly Ully had three points in his first game of the week but went pointless in the next two. He got a goal and two assists during the Kamloops Blazers 4-1win on Tuesday.

Mike Winther returned from suspension this week and played in three games. He had a single assist through those three games. He got that during the Prince Albert Raiders 4-3 OT loss to the Swift Current Broncos.

Dmitry Sinitsyn played two games and had a single assist. The assist was during the Regina Pats 5-2 win over the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Brenden Troock had three points in two games for the Seattle Thunderbirds. He got an assist during their 5-3 loss to the Victoria Royals. He had a goal and an assist against the Regina Pats during their 5-3 loss.

QMJHL

Both Troy Vance and Maxime Lagace seem to have missed all the games this week due to injury.

Philippe Desrosiers played a single game. He let in only one goal on 29 shots and finished with a 0.966 SV%.

NCAA

Michigan did not play this week and therefore Alex Guptill wasn't in action.

Devin Shore played two games against Vermont and had a single assist.

Sweden

No games were played in any of the Swedish leagues this week during a single week break. They'll return to action next week.

Finland

No games were played in Finland either during a single week break in their season.
