The Dallas Stars are really looking like a playoff team right now. I know it's early in the season but if they can keep this up they will be a contender for the cup. One thing that has really impressed me is how they have given Trevor Daley the green light to be more offensive and attack the net. His gameplay is really similar to Seth Jones from the U20 USA team (without the size). Another player that has stepped up is Lehtonen. He is literally carrying the team on his back right now. We should not expect him to make that many saves every night. I believe we need to strengthen our defense. The offense looks like it has improved, especially the development of the younger players on the team. Dallas really should have spent more time looking into getting a star defensemen. Here's what I think the stars should do within the next year. Sign Benn(of course), also look into trading Morrow and maybe another player for a strong defenseman. I would then give Benn the C and let him step up as a leader. Anyways, Jagr is playing like a champion and Whitney still has the magic touch. Opinions?
