Talked to our ticket rep about renewing our season tickets for the shortened season and was not too pleased at all. First, they said that as a long-time holder the discount we got was that they were not going to raise ticket prices for us for this season (they kept them at $55 a ticket sec. 111). So that is their special treatment for all of us who remained during the bankruptcy, lockout etc.?!? not raising prices?!? REALLY?!? To say that I am pissed would be an understatement. So just to test the waters i offered $50 a ticket and wanted free parking, got denied, in fact didn't even get a counter offer. This shows me what the new front office is about, and shows that Jim Lites was full of crap when talking about season ticket holders. The fact that there was a lockout, there will be no eastern conference team (no Ovi, or Crosby), we still have to stay up till 9 p.m. to watch any west coast swing, and not to mention the playoff drought of recent years, they think that by just not raising prices from last year that we will sign on the dotted line? Not this guy. I will watch on tv every game (always do)and might attend one game but not too thrilled with how they are treating the die hard loyal fans as they call us. Thanks for letting me vent if you read this!
