Well I figured a few people might be excited to finally see the fruits of a well groomed prospect system in NHL 13. Last's years installment was less than spectacular with various top prospects undervalued. With NHL 13's new dynamic potential growth the days of A, B, C, D, etc are over. In Be a GM, gone are the days of having countless "star" players in free agency after so many years throughout the season b/c of salary demands. Now every player in the league has a growth potential between half a star and 5 full stars. The higher the number, the higher a player's potential overall rating. Green, yellow, and red are used to track the possibility of reaching their potential, where White refers to a stop growth. What does this mean? Well if your coveted franchise player is injured through the beginning of his career, his growth will be hindered. As always a deep playoff run, good statistical year and top minutes are the key to nurturing your young players into all stars.
