I didn't create one of these last week because last week was the first week of free agency, and I knew everybody's attention, mine included, would be focused on the moves the Stars would make. Low and behold, there were some pretty significant moves made to say the least.

I've been making these for the past year for the most part with hopes of giving DBDers a place to discuss other things going on besides hockey. Occasionally, Tsudbury has covered for me, and unfortunately for me, one of his OT Threads holds the record for most comments. I'm not bitter about that at all...yeah I kind of am.

Anyway, to get this conversation started, since it's summer, it's basically baseball and movies. Let's talk movies:

What has been the best movie of the year that you've seen?

What has been the worst movie of the year that you've seen?

Have you already bought your ticket to see The Dark Knight Rises?

I don't think I've ever seen a movie so highly anticipated that tickets are available A MONTH BEFORE THE FILM IS RELEASED. Then again, I wasn't around for the Star Wars Trilogy from 1977-1983.

Was The Amazing Spider-Man better than the first three Spider-Man films, or worse?

Also, just for moderation's sake, if Tsudbury and I, and perhaps other mods, feel a conversation in a front-page thread is getting side-tracked, and on the verge of being derailed, we will direct you all to this thread.
