I was not around last week for a couple reasons. The first and foremost reason, I was moving out of my apartment. The second reason, and perhaps the most inconvenient, was that somebody hacked my email and my Facebook, and I had to spend a few days doing damage control, which sucked. The aftermath: all my contacts, gone. All my emails, gone. Facebook appears to be fine, though, for those of you who were wondering.
Why do people feel the need to screw with other people?
Anyway, the 2012 London Olympics have finally arrived. So, time for some Olympic-Themed questions.
Favorite Summer Olympic sport?
Favorite Summer Olympic moment?
What sport do you wish was a Summer Olympic sport?
Favorite Summer Olympic opening ceremony?
What do you think is the toughest sport in the Summer Olympics?
I hereby declare this the Defending Big D Summer Olympics Open Discussion Thread. Feel free to post events as they happen in real-time.
Also, for those of you who want to see the Olympics live as they happen, go to NBCOlympics.com, and thanks to YouTube, you'll see things as they happen in real time. But, keep this in mind:
Granted, to watch the the Olympics live online you’ll need to subscribe to a cable tier that includes CNBC and MSNBC, but it’s still better than nothing. If you live in certain countries in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa, you’ll be able to watch live coverage of the games directly on YouTube.
Update August 6, 2012: I'm too lazy to make a new thread. Plus, the Olympics are still going on. What did you all think about that crazy Canada-USA match?
